In the end, we submitted 5 concepts to the Management Team

A conference was an option given by our coaches, who already had a client lined up. Another group had also opted to create a concept for this, however we see no reason as to why we couldn't work together on making it one great event

3.TWISTER!
Have one band perform on one stage, than let another band play in an opposite stage. This way the audience will keep twisting. It might be cool to have a lot of stages, but of course it’s also doable with two stages.
1 band from Haarlem, Utrecht, Amsterdam and Den Haag (the specific cities can still be changed).Arrange 2 gigs in every city, which makes for a total of 8 gigs. This way every band will get his own audience to his own city, and perhaps even in other cities. The band who plays in its own city will be the headliner for that show. So if they play in Haarlem, the band from Haarlem will be the main act.
The original concept was to “export” South African bands to the Netherlands for a couple of weeks and organise a tour – mainly to gain them overseas exposure. Ideally at least four bands but funding will be the determining factor.
Research has indicated that there are some cultural grants/funds available for African artists, and creating awareness of African culture/arts, shifting the focus of the originally intented tour style from 'mainstream' genres of music (pop/rock/indie etc) to a more 'ethnic' feel.

6. Jam It
Idea: Several street musicians and bands from different locations on the streets are connected via Internet streaming broadcast and jam with each other at the same time, performing life in front of the big public. The jam is shown to the audience on the big screens with the overview of the other jamming artists on them so the audience, actually, has a feeling of seeing big jam life at one time from different spots
