So I've started just writing and so far it's not working out that well because the first two sentences of the blog aren't really that interesting. Let's hope the third is better. Woops.
So to get back where I wasn't...
Today is an especially warm day in the Rookie office. Somehow Rookie Entertainment reminds me of Loekie de Leeuw and it's the first thing i associated with Rookie when i first heard of it. But there are no lions here, even though the temperature would suit 'm. Anyways for the international students Loekie de Leeuw was a... well.. a doll that brightened up commercials for a TV station between '72 and '04. Granted the lion looked a bit dodgy in his final years but he still rocked.
Asjemenou!?
Loekie the Lion would have become a viral hit if he would have been around in the social media era. His catchphrase "Asjemenou!?" was the only thing he said and it was the "WTF?!" of that time.
All of this has nothing to do with music of course, but it did have something to do with Rookie, sorta, so that's good to!
Does anyone else have people asking them what instrument you play when you say you're a int. music student? I don't play an instrument... I mean i can keep a beat, somewhat, and hum a melody, sometimes, but I don't really play an instrument. I don't really know what instrument would suit me either. I tried playing the guitar but I sucked and I like bass but thats to much like the guitar. Recently I bought dj decks, and that's fun! But not an instrument. (Sorry DJ's.) It just feels like i should be playing an instrument as an "International Music Management student".
"You should play the trumpet!"
At least according to this link... Well I don't know about the trumpet... well i know about the trumpet... but playing it? I don't have the lung capacity. So what musical instrument suits you best? If someone gets the traingle i want to know about it!
Do triangle classes actually excist?
Btw...
If anybody is reading this and would like to share some music with me; find me on Soundcloud! or Swift FM.
